SIXT Mobility / Revamping the counter device experience
In a nutshell
Picking up a rental car should be easy, right? And yet customers often dread it. SIXT Mobility wanted to make the collection process more transparent and seamless, using tablets at the counter to display options and breakdowns.
As part of a larger collaboration, Silberpuls was tasked with overhauling the outdated and inconsistent UX and UI of the POS tablets, with me as lead designer.
The project ranged from on-site store visits to feedback sessions with agents and stakeholders, which was then translated into a user-centred design. We identified opportunities that would significantly improve the tablet flow and customer experience, be transparent and fit perfectly into the SIXT universe. The result? A redesigned POS touchpoint that makes collecting the car easy and exciting for the customer.
At this time, I cannot share any details about this project. I'd be happy to discuss it further in person.
